Our Story
Grace Lane Homes is a family-owned custom home builder proudly serving the Texas Hill Country. The company’s story began in 2011, when Josh and Michelle Bermes founded JGB Homes in Midland, Texas. After relocating to the Bulverde/Spring Branch area in 2015, the business became Grace Lane Homes and continued to grow, earning a reputation for quality craftsmanship and personal service.
In 2022, the Bermes family faced an unexpected loss when Josh passed away after a sudden and aggressive illness. His absence was deeply felt by both his family and the many clients whose lives he touched. Since then, Michelle has become the heart and face of Grace Lane Homes, leading the company with the same dedication to transparency, collaboration, and attention to detail that has always set it apart.
Grace Lane Homes specializes in creating energy-efficient, high-quality homes tailored to each client’s unique vision. From the first consultation to the final walkthrough, every project is treated with the care and commitment of a family business.
